Iskra PRO Among the Recipients of the Gold Award for the VisionGuard Innovation
Iskra PRO Kranj d.o.o., together with its partners Talum d.d., Roboteh d.o.o., Tri Sense d.o.o., and Comland d.o.o., has received the Gold Award at the 22nd Podravje Region Innovation Awards, organized by the Štajerska Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The event took place in the beautiful setting of the Old Glassworks in Ptuj, where the region’s most outstanding innovation achievements were presented.
The award-winning VisionGuard innovation combines advanced technological solutions in industrial automation, machine vision, and mechanical processing to enable defect-free casting production. Its goal is to achieve “zero-defect” manufacturing of aluminum castings by automating key process stages, significantly reducing the risk of human error while ensuring high quality and full product traceability.
VisionGuard – The Result of Strong Development Collaboration
The VisionGuard project is the outcome of close and effective cooperation between the participating companies, with Iskra PRO contributing key expertise in production process automation and the development of specialized technological solutions for quality control. The project sets new standards in the casting industry and contributes to greater competitiveness and sustainable growth for all partners involved.
Success on a National Level
In addition to the regional Gold Award, the VisionGuard innovation also received the Silver Award at the national competition for the best innovations, organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia in cooperation with the Ministry of the Economy, Tourism and Sport, and the SPIRIT Slovenia agency.
